The Bahai Garden in Haifa

The Bahai Garden is among the most significant
tourist attraction sites in Haifa.

It is comprised of a staircase that has nineteen terraces
that extend up to Mount Carmel’s northern slopes.

The Bahai Garden in Haifa has three distinct sections.
First among these is the upper section, which comprises of the
main gate opposite the Louis Promenade,
where a tour to the garden begins.

Second is the middle section, surrounding the shrine,
which contains the remains of the Bab, which has a gold cap.
Finally, there is the lower section,
which opens up to the German Colony.

The Bahai Garden stretches for nearly one kilometer
and also has small sculptures, concentric circles and waterworks.
The 200,000 square meters garden is the work of Fariborz Sahba,
an architect of Iranian descent built from donations from Bahais.

The Bahai Garden in Haifa opens daily from 9:00 to 17:00 hours.
However, the section near the shrine closes at noon.
