Things to do in Beautiful Haifa
Haifa is one of the most gorgeous cities in Israel. Tourists travel there from around the world to see and experience some of the most majestic views. Some are popular but a few are only known to locals who know the area very well. Here are three things to do in beautiful Haifa:
Baha’i Gardens in Haifa
This is considered a World Heritage site, with good reason. It has over 19 gardens and half a million visitors come here to see the gorgeous views here at the slopes of Carmel Mountain.
Bat Galim and Dado beaches
The calm waters here give you a perfect chance to cool off and swim, but don’t worry; if you get hungry there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to eat out at. If you don’t like swimming or eating, you can walk along the beach with some of the most pristine, beautiful views. Both of these beaches—Bat Galim and Dado beaches—are considered the best in all of Haifa.
Stella Maris Monastery
This is believed to be one of the oldest monasteries in the world, so it’s definitely a historical site that you don’t want to miss. It’s high above Haifa, so you can actually see the entire city from up here. In the Bible, Elijah fought the priests of Baal here, so when you visit, you can feel the rich history and stunning view of the city. From here, you can even grab a cable car from Bat Galim beach. It’s also free to the public, so this is something that you can’t miss when you’re in Haifa.
Haifa is one of the most historical and beautiful cities in the world, so this is one city that you need to experience and see for yourself.
