Things to See in Nazareth

Nazareth is one of the oldest, historical, and Biblical cities in the world. It’s widely known to be the birthplace of Jesus Christ and the origin story of his birth celebrated at Christmas time. It is an ancient and majestic city rich with many special things to do to give you a brand new experience unlike anything you’ve ever had before.

Mount Precipitation

Mount Precipitation is also known as the Mount of Leap
or Mount Precipice is a mountain that stretches on
the outskirts of Nazareth in the northern part of Israel.

Here, Jesus was rejected by an angry mob
and it was also here that he declared himself to be the Son of God,
the Messiah.
People from all over the world come here to visit this famously Biblical place.

More than that it also has a very long and rich history, dating back to 100,000 years ago. There was a cave discovered with remains from prehistoric Neanderthal skeletons—thirteen in total. This cave is one you won’t want to miss when you come to Mount Precipice.

On top of the mountain itself, you can see a full view of Mountain Tabor and the Jazreel valley. There is also several trails that connects to other Biblical locations, including The Gospel Trail. Another thing to visit here at Mount Precipice is a 40,000 seat auditorium that has been used for the largest Catholic Masses ever held in Israel.
